KSMU's Missy Shelton reported this week on the station's "Going Green" series about green building. Shelton interviewed HBA builders Brett Godfrey and Scott Kisling on the subject. Also this podcast: Green Tips from City Utilities will be featured at July 25 HBA Builder/Remodelor Breakfast ... The HBA's Green Building Product Showcase Night will be August 19 at the Clarion Hotel in Springfield ... the National Association of Home Builders testified before Congress on ways to properly incentivize green building practices - principles that work as well locally as federally.
